Growing up in a family of educated doctors, Dr. Roya embraced her passion and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in Iran back in 1997. What's truly impressive is that she not only graduated at the top of her class but also managed to raise her one-year-old daughter simultaneously.
After spending a couple of years working as a general dentist, Dr. Roya felt a strong inner pull to pursue further specialization and in 1999, she made her way back to Mashhad University, embarking on an intensive three-year orthodontic residency that she successfully completed in 2002. Impressively, she once again secured the top position in the Iranian National Dental Board Exam.
For a remarkable 15 years, Dr. Roya shared her knowledge as a university professor at Qazvin University of Medical Sciences. There, she nurtured the minds of budding orthodontists, teaching them the ropes of her craft. But that's not all—she donned various hats, serving as Dean Associate in Education, Orthodontic Department Head, and Research Centre Head. No wonder she's got a collection of papers published in both local and international journals.

In 2018, she took a leap by undertaking a one-year orthodontic gap-training course at the University of Alberta. And to top it all off, she aced the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC) exam in 2019, officially becoming a Certified Specialist in Orthodontics.
Even beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Roya is a mom to three wonderful children. When she's not crafting beautiful smiles, she's out exploring new places and soaking up precious moments with her family.

Nas is our experienced Certified Dental Assistant in Orthodontics. Nas is Dr. Royas clinical right-hand woman and with every orthodontic visit, you’ll be in seasoned capable hands.
Nas has been working in the dental field more than 25 years as a Dental Assistant and as an Orthodontic Certified Dental Assistant since 2006.
Nas is hardworking, responsible and punctual. She loves her job with compassion and very sensitive to patient’s needs. What Nas likes more about her job, is the diversity it brings.
She has a beautiful family of two and a grand-daughter who she adores. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, walking, camping and spending time with her grand-daughter.
