The honest truth is that most orthodontic visits, once you're past the first few appointments, are spaced out every 6 to 12 weeks. You're not making this drive every week. For Invisalign patients especially, check-ins are typically every 8 to 12 weeks, so the commute becomes a non-issue pretty quickly.

Dr. Naseh recommends a first orthodontic check-up around age 7, even before all the baby teeth are gone. At that age, we can often catch jaw growth and spacing issues early and treat them with simpler, shorter interventions than waiting until adolescence would require.
